The Lake Ridge Academy in North Ridgeville, Ohio is a nonsectarian, independent school that was founded in 1963. The school offers classes for children in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. North Ridgeville is located on the west side of Cleveland, and the school is one of the only independent schools in the area.

Alexander Potoczak Ohio grew up in Ohio and attended Lake Ridge Academy. He was a member of the competitive math team during his time at Lake Ridge. The team qualified for the state competition and finished in a high position at the end of the competition. He values the education that he received at Lake Ridge because he knows the school had the resources to provide him a quality and unique educational experiences that many other schools could not have done.
